The venture capital company 500 Global, based in Silicon Valley, announced the 12 new startups selected for its Batch 19 program in Mexico City, named Somos Lucha, in collaboration with the Mexican team of its accelerator.

This project offers startups the opportunity to receive investment and access to a 16-week intensive program with their founders and teams.

The main goal is to professionalize leaders and founders, connect them with mentors, other entrepreneurs, as well as key figures in the business world, and prepare them for the capital-raising process.

To date, Somos Lucha has invested over USD$39 million in more than 260 projects in Latin America.

The 12 new startups selected come from Mexico (6), Colombia (5), and Chile (1), and operate in a variety of industries, including fintech, agtech, developer tools, adtech, healthtech, SME Solutions, foodtech, and HRTech.

Here are the 12 selected startups:

Dora (Colombia): Offers a tenant scoring system and a comprehensive smart rental service for the real estate market in Latin America, automating the rent payment process.

Healf (Mexico): Provides a financial service that simplifies and finances medical expense reimbursements for patients, medical institutions, and insurers.

RUUT (Mexico): Is an investment platform focused on Mexicans investing for the first time, allowing users to create personalized investment portfolios with a single click and a simple experience.

Wihom (Colombia): Offers an automation tool for e-commerce that synchronizes transactions and eliminates manual reconciliation in accounting software.

Ziro (Colombia): Provides financing to small businesses for inventory purchases through an omnichannel B2B BNPL solution.

Conteller (Mexico): Allows brands to post briefs, capture, store, and pay for authentic content directly from their non-famous customers and creators.

AgroMatch (Chile): Provides flexible solutions for the purchase or rental of agricultural machinery to Latin American farmers.

Prelu (Mexico): Offers a clinically assisted and personalized weight loss program with a comprehensive approach that includes medical care, specialized nutrition, and fitness, using state-of-the-art medications and an online digital experience.

Code Report (Mexico): Drives a large-scale tech talent assessment and selection platform using artificial intelligence.

Apparta (Colombia): Offers a reservation solution that allows restaurants to leverage their empty tables, offering them with different benefits tailored to their needs.

WeiBook (Colombia): Is an application that manages the operation and finances of beauty-related businesses in Latin America.

Uncodie (Mexico): Provides a platform that transforms UI/UX designs into high-quality web applications, improving the efficiency of development teams.
