According to this scorecard by INRIX, Bogota, Colombia is the worst city in Latin America in terms of traffic. The list takes into consideration many variables including the total amount of hours lost from traffic jams. In Bogota, drivers lost 272 hours due to congestion.

Grin is a Mexican startup that began operations in mid-2018. By March 2019, it achieved three funding rounds, partnered with Rappi, as well as merged with Brazilian startup, Yellow. The Mexican scooter platform has given us a lot to talk about over the last few months.

Bussi

This rideshare app deploys vans with Wi-Fi on passengers’ commute. When you specify your pickup location and destination, the driver with the best route resembling your trajectory will soon be on their way.

Mexican startup, Econduce, offers electric scooters with a supplemental helmet, insurance, and even driving classes. Through the app, you can locate available devices and pay for trips based on the duration.

Urvban is another carpooling service using shared vans. It transports the user from point A to point B with immediate access to the internet along the way. Vehicles are also equipped with surveillance cameras for additional security.

Vbike

The Vbike program works with shared bicycles under a new format. For example, there aren’t any stations or penalties for trips lasting more than 30 minutes. Download the app, unlock the bike and drop it off when you’re finished.

Yaxi

Yaxi’s platform connects users with local taxi drivers. With this, customers can pay with credit/debit card or cash for the user’s convenience.
