The product’s key feature is its content of probiotic bacteria that directly influence mental health, specifically those releasing GABA, a neurotransmitter beneficial for reducing stress and anxiety. The anticipated launch of this yogurt is slated for approximately six weeks from now. Alejandro Velasquez, director of COWO Incubadora Corfo, remarked on SystemBiotech’s potential impact in the functional food industry, underscoring the importance of regional innovation in addressing widespread issues like mental health.
