Contxto – Brazilian cloud-based HR management platform, Sólides, recently raised US$3.5 million from DGF Investimentos. With this, Sólides now joins other software and AI-based companies such as Resultados Digitais, ReclameAqui and Ingresse as part of DGF Investments’ portfolio.
Funds will reportedly go towards expanding operations.
“This contribution comes at a very strategic time for Sólides,” said founder Monica Hauck. “With the feature, we will launch new products and continue our ambitious expansion plan. Our goal is to continue to achieve average growth above 10 percent per month. Today we have 150 employees and the forecast is to double our team.”
HR meets AI
Sólides’ operations revolve around agile methodologies to improve recruitment as well as the selection process for businesses. Partners resort to Sólides to lower hiring costs, reduce turnover, build strong teams, in addition to heightening overall performance.
One of its biggest milestones is the Ana Robot capable of analyzing databases to raise standards. With the machine’s expertise, it can identify potential pain points or areas for improvement, helping partners better manage their companies.
Besides the AI innovations, the startup also offers behavioral management, analytics and mapping features. Partners can even maintain competency profiles of their employees.
Based on the startup’s calculations, a company with a team of 50 people spends an average of US$408,000 a year on high turnover costs. Not only does this result in wasted time but also unnecessary training and diminished job productivity.
Over 1,300 partners have collaborated with Sólides since its 2015 founding in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Additionally, the company has profiled more than 327,6700 employees, according to its website.
