Stenn Launches Its First Tech Hub Outside the UK in Barcelona

Since its inception in 2015, Stenn has facilitated financing worth €18 billion, primarily to SMEs, through the financing of unpaid invoices to bridge funding gaps in both national and international supply chains.

Operating in 74 countries, Stenn is positioned as one of the UK’s leading companies on track to achieve a valuation of $1 billion, becoming a “soonicorn.”

The Barcelona hub’s opening aligns with Stenn’s strategy to harness Catalonia’s ability to attract global talent, its high-quality business infrastructure, and the forward-thinking mindset of its people and administration.

Stenn’s commitment to expanding its initial team of engineers, designers, and digital security experts in Barcelona is supported by the Catalan government’s agency, ACCIÓ. This expansion adds to the 936 UK companies already operating in Catalonia, highlighting the UK’s significant presence in Catalonia’s tech sector, which accounts for 13% of all international tech companies in the region.
