Puebla is consolidating itself as one of the most relevant emerging poles for technological innovation in Mexico, and the fourth edition of Industry Connection 2025 is proof of this.
In an environment where startups need validation and traction as much as capital, these types of dynamics are more effective than many traditional acceleration programs.
The meeting, organized by the Eugenio Garza Lagüera Entrepreneurship Institute of the Tec de Monterrey, brought together startups, corporations and investors with the purpose of generating real business opportunities in E-commerce and Retail, two sectors that are undergoing profound transformations and require technological solutions capable of responding to the growing complexity of the market.
The startups had four minutes to present their proposals, but the real value came in the subsequent individual sessions, where executives from national and international companies, funds and ecosystem leaders delved into possible pilots, investment routes and collaboration schemes.
The choice of E-commerce and Retail as the thematic focus responds to a decisive moment for both industries. The pressure on supply chains, the need to automate processes, the rise of advanced analytics, the urgency to improve the consumer experience and the search for more sustainable models have generated a scenario in which technology is no longer optional.
In this context, the Industry Connection becomes an effective bridge for corporations to find concrete solutions and for startups to validate their value proposition in front of decision makers who need to solve immediate problems.
The startups that participated in this edition presented solutions including intelligent mobility, digital payments and productivity with artificial intelligence, digital signatures, operational optimization, and consumer-oriented experiences. This diversity is evidence that the region is becoming a living laboratory for applied innovation.
For investment funds and corporates, the format represents an exceptional opportunity to identify relevant dealflow without the interference of overly media-driven dynamics. Conversations move quickly, entrepreneurial teams are confronted with business questions that go beyond the pitch, and the possibilities for collaboration are clearly assessed from the very first interaction.

In addition to training talent and accompanying startups, the institution is building bridges that facilitate commercial growth and the professionalization of ventures with potential for impact in strategic sectors.
The result is a model that benefits everyone: startups gain access to clients and investment exploration, corporations find innovation designed to fit their needs, and the region is positioned as a benchmark for the development of market-oriented technology.
The experience of this edition confirms that Puebla and the Tec de Monterrey are playing an increasingly influential role in the evolution of E-commerce and Retail in Mexico, promoting a vision of open innovation where business growth is built on collaboration between entrepreneurs, academia and industry.
