Nomad, a Fintech that Allows Brazilians to Open Accounts in the US, Raises Over US$32 million

The Brazilian startup raised US$32.1 in a round led by the Stripe fund, reaching a valuation of US$200 million. Also participating were funds Monashees, Spark Capital, Propel, Globo Ventures, and Abstract.

Founded in 2019, Nomad offers Brazilians products such as bank accounts in the US, international debit cards, and ETFs. As the fintech’s co-founder, Patrick Sigrist, told Forbes Brasil, they will allocate the investment to new products, attract new customers and develop new technologies.

Sigrist is also the founder of the logistics and delivery startup iFood, while Nomad’s CEO, Lucas Vargas, led the real estate portal Viva Real.
