Succeeding Teresa Gutiérrez and holding over four years of experience as Senior VP of Global Restaurants at Rappi, Cadavid has significantly contributed to the company’s growth. Under his leadership, the number of restaurants on the platform increased fivefold, making the restaurant vertical the largest for Rappi in Latin America.
During the pandemic, Cadavid pioneered “Fine Dining,” a high-end culinary concept to support restaurants’ survival and provide premium dining experiences at home. He also expanded “Turbo Restaurants” in recent months, a service delivering ready-to-eat restaurant meals in just 10 minutes, showcasing Rappi’s innovation in the Latin American market.
Cadavid takes on his new role with a strategic transformation plan focused on talent, technology, and innovation, aiming to reinforce Rappi’s leadership in Mexico. With an MBA from INALDE Business School and a negotiation program from Harvard University, Cadavid brings over 18 years of experience, including roles at Spradling Group and 3M. His tenure in Mexico and Latin America positions him as a key player in driving Rappi’s success in the region.
