Videsk, the only Latin American startup chosen for the Founder Residency program, will join a world-renowned platform focused on accelerating and empowering technological startups.
This program, created by The Roux Institute, an institution affiliated with Northeastern University in Boston, is globally recognized for its academic excellence and interdisciplinary research projects.
Chilean Videsk will participate in this initiative for one year to establish a strong market entry strategy.
Additionally, Videsk co-founders Andrés Leiva Loyola and Matías López Díaz will have the opportunity to learn and collaborate with prominent industry players, including tech giants like Google.
“It’s a privilege to be part of the 10 startups selected for this program, as it will grant us access to nothing less than the global network of mentors and investors within their global network.
“Alongside researchers, academics, and postgraduate students in artificial intelligence, computer science, data, and digital engineering, which aligns perfectly with the development of our product and technology roadmap,” emphasized Matías López Díaz, CTO of Videsk.
At the same time, they will establish strategic connections to position themselves as one of the leading global tech startups.
“Being selected for this incredible program represents a validation of our potential and technology, and it demonstrates that Videsk has the quality to compete in the big leagues, as this program aims, among other things, to help startups penetrate the United States market.
“This significant milestone was one of our OKRs for this year and will enable us to achieve a key position in addressing the market from a different perspective, laying the groundwork to strengthen our presence in Latin America and subsequently expand into markets on other continents,” affirmed Andrés Leiva Loyola, CEO of the startup.
It’s important to highlight that this program offers each company a non-dilutable equity-free funding grant of USD $ 25,000 and access to specific programming, mentorship, collaborative research opportunities, a network of expert advisors, and a community of fellow entrepreneurs.
