Contxto – Like a blockchain diplomatic mission, the Bitcoin Association recently appointed a triad of new Latin American ambassadors to lead operations and promote adoption in their respective countries.

While certain nations grapple with economic woes and financial uncertainty, the objective is to raise awareness about Bitcoin (BSV) to the general populace. Based on these new positions, though, the association intends to examine international ecosystems under microeconomic lenses.

“With such tangible growth on the BSV blockchain, the Bitcoin Association is taking a more micro focus for adoption,” said Founding President of the Bitcoin Association, Jimmy Nguyen.

“As it becomes increasingly clear that only BSV scales to real business levels, we are now laser-focused on areas where we can help BSV development more directly in specific geographic regions, in native languages, and offer local representatives.”

These series of announcements follow similar pronouncements in North American and European markets where BSV advocacy is reportedly gaining momentum. According to CoinGeek, it is the fastest-growing blockchain-powered technology on the market. Similarly, developers are progressively using it more in terms of app creation.

So, without any further ado, these are new Bitcoin Association representatives:

Esthon Medeiros (Brazil)

As the founder and CEO of RioBlockchain, Medeiros offers 37 years of experience in Brazil’s flourishing IT industry. From this, he has been handling BSV for the past five years. His plan is to work closely with developers to showcase the incentives behind crypto adoption.

María Eugenia López (Argentina)

Not only does López work as a Senior UX (User Experience) Designer at Money Button but she’s also a professor. Specifically, López teaches her digital trade at the University of Buenos Aires. This way, she can work closely with Argentine developers to disseminate BSV further throughout the country.

Attila Arros (Panama)

Last but certainly not least is the CEO of MatterCloud, who was also a BSV Hackathon finalist in 2019. Since he’s a seasoned BSV developer himself, he plans to develop his blockchain platform while collaborating with interested parties.
