Prixz, an online Mexican pharmacy, hits a US$100 million valuation

Prixz announced a Series A led by SV Latam Capital and with the participation of Ulu Ventures, and HelthCo, among other funds. Asked about the value of the round, they said they could not reveal it due to a confidentiality agreement. They did share the total valuation, which was US$100 million.

Founded in 2015, Prixz is a platform where users can buy medicines online. In recent years the company has focused on product availability and efficiency, creating several last-mile delivery centers. According to the company, during the pandemic, its sales grew by 400% and the platform already reaches 12 million unique monthly visitors.

The commercial director of Prixz, Erick Ramírez de Arellano, said that thanks to this round they will be able to expand their business to other LatAm countries. In addition, he was optimistic about the company’s growth, saying that they are on its way to becoming “the next Mexican unicorn.”
