Next week, Mexico City will host Startups Latam Week, an event aimed at significantly impacting the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the region. The event will take place from September 5 to 7 at the Co-Madre Polanco venue and will feature various activities, including panels, workshops, and interviews with industry experts.
The free initiative is spearheaded by the content hub Startups Latam.
In a press release, Sofía Neumann, Co-Founder and Chief Editor of Startups Latam, stated:
“We aim to give massive visibility across the Latin American region to the new entrepreneurs who have emerged, whether they are seeking to raise capital or expand into other countries in the region.”
The first two days of the event, from 10 in the morning to 5:00 p.m., will focus on various topics, including capital raising, expansion, and connectivity in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The last day will conclude at 4:00 p.m. with an after-office event.
Several emerging companies like Nowports, Fairplay, Nuvocargo, and Scape, among others, will be in attendance. Additionally, venture capital investors like Angel Ventures, Seedstars International Ventures, Kapital, Nuvocargo, and Fes Ventures will participate. A representative from the Government of Mexico and other experts and ecosystem leaders will also be present.
“With this, we aim to create a space of connection for the ecosystem and an opportunity for the startups in attendance to increase their knowledge and thus achieve their objectives to become the next unicorns of the country,” added Neumann.
