Crezes Raises $750,000 in Pre-Seed Round

Brazilian VC fund Maya Capital leads investment in AI-powered platform providing location data insights to businesses.
  • Angel investors include founders of Zubale, Heru, and Ozon
  • Platform offers pedestrian flow, vehicle flow, visit frequency, and demographic data
  • Enables record-keeping and traceability of location data while maintaining privacy

Crezes, a Mexican startup, has closed its pre-seed round, raising $750,000 to further its mission of democratizing access to location data. The funding will enable the company to change how businesses understand interactions between people and physical spaces, facilitating decision-making in Mexico.

The investment was led by Maya Capital, a Brazilian venture capital fund. Their participation shows belief in Crezes’ potential to influence how Mexican businesses make data-driven decisions and drive growth.

Crezes’ platform uses artificial intelligence to provide location-based insights, such as dwell time, local business analytics, and traffic generators. By offering a view of current and potential locations, the startup aims to simplify the expansion process for businesses, allowing companies to identify new markets, select sites, and uncover customer insights.

“Businesses invest over $50,000 in opening a new point of sale without reliable data to ensure success. Crezes addresses this challenge by providing data, enabling companies to make decisions rather than relying on intuition,” said Santiago Moreno, co-founder of Crezes.

With this funding, Crezes is positioned to help businesses across various sectors make data-driven decisions and optimize their expansion strategies, aiming to boost sales and enhance decision-making in Mexico.
