Chilean Startup ZTZ Tech Group Targets European Expansion

Starting with the appointment of commercial representatives in Madrid.

ZTZ Tech Group, a company specializing in the development and application of technologies to assist organizations with customer requests, is setting its sights on the European market.  This move comes after exploring various European cities throughout 2023. CEO Nicolás Vilela emphasized the strategic importance of establishing a physical presence in Europe, citing the region’s advanced regulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a pivotal opportunity for the company.

“Europe is a critical step for ZTZ Tech Group in our corporate strategy. By expanding our market coverage, we aim to understand the challenges posed by AI regulations that have been in place in this part of the world,” stated Vilela. He further elaborated on Europe’s global leadership in AI regulation, referring to the historical precedent set by the April 2021 law for both industries and society. Vilela views this regulation as a catalyst for fostering discussions on the ethical and responsible use of AI, offering a competitive edge through early adaptation to these standards.

Vilela underscored the necessity of being physically present where significant changes are occurring to engage with local entrepreneurs and receive direct feedback from the entrepreneurial ecosystem. This strategy, combined with initiating dialogue with potential clients, underscores the company’s dedication to innovation and sustainable growth.

Since its inception in 2017, ZTZ Tech Group has experienced significant growth. It started with participation in Start-Up Chile, then expanded through collaborations with major companies, and subsequently established operations in Peru, Colombia, and Mexico. Currently, the company is finalizing arrangements for its European launch.
