The card offers no minimum balance requirements, hidden fees, or commissions. It allows over 170,000 current customers to withdraw cash and make purchases globally through the Mastercard network.

Carlos Marmolejo, General Director of Finsus, announced the initiative alongside Mastercard Mexico’s VP Analicia García and Evertec’s country manager for Mexico, Iván Baquero. The card is available for all citizens, targeting the 33% of Mexico’s population in smaller localities often excluded financially.

Unique to ‘Sin Fronteras’ are benefits like unlimited telemedicine health insurance, life insurance, cashback on certain products, and commission-free payments for basic services through the FinShop app. Additionally, it offers a savings account with a 6.09% annual yield and investments starting at 100 pesos with up to 15.01% annual returns.

Mastercard aligns with Finsus in offering user-centric financial solutions, with cardholders gaining access to Strive Mexico’s benefits, including mentoring for women microentrepreneurs. Evertec, as the technical and payment ally, reinforces its commitment to fostering financial inclusion and innovation in Mexico.
