Google seems to be upping its game in the AI world, as developer Dylan Roussel discovered hints of a new “Bard Advanced” offering. This enhanced service is expected to be part of the Google One subscription, featuring superior computational capabilities.
Bard Advanced is reportedly built on Google’s top-tier language model, Gemini Ultra, which marks a significant step up from the currently used Gemini Pro. Developer insights by Roussel point to this advanced version being adept at math and reasoning, positioning it well ahead of its predecessor.
The leaks include screenshots showing that Bard Advanced stands out as a “more capable large language model,” as stated by Roussel. Extra code snippets found by Developer Bedros Pamboukian further reinforce the possibility of an “advanced” tier service in the works.
1. Motoko.
There isn't much about Motoko yet. However there is just enough for me to tell you that Google will allow you to "Create Bots." I can't say what they mean by bots exactly, if they will be shareable or anything, but yes… Motoko is the codename for "Bots." pic.twitter.com/4wW4AKbzIS

Roussel’s findings didn’t stop there; he also uncovered potential updates hinting at a feature labeled as Motoko. This could enable users to build their own custom bots, although it remains unclear if these creations will be shareable or if they will incur additional costs.
Google is also speculated to be developing a new “power up” tool that aims to enhance user inputs using AI technology. There’s even talk of a “Gallery” section, brought to light by Roussel, which might be a space for users to experiment with Bard’s functionalities across various subjects.
Other minor but intriguing additions include a “tasks” tab for tracking ongoing complex operations and options for personalizing shared Bard prompts with custom backgrounds. Yet, the launch timeline of these features is unknown, and Google has not confirmed these developments to The Verge.
As Google continues to refine Bard, it’s clear that they are positioning it to compete with the likes of OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Copilot. Recent enhancements have enabled Bard to provide real-time responses and even interact with YouTube content, demonstrating Google’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of AI technology.
