After five years of being held in Brazil, it’s country of origin, the Latin America Summit of Ebanx, the Brazilian unicorn dedicated to payment processing, is coming to Mexico City for the first time. In its sixth edition, experts will meet from September 12 to 14 to discuss the new digital business opportunities that exist due to the evolution of alternative payment methods and digitization in Latin America.

Buy Now, Pay Later, real-time payments, and Web 3.0 payments are increasing their presence today and will be the following trends in alternative payments. Today, they already represent 30% of the total e-commerce volume, according to the Beyond Borders 2021/2022 report by Ebanx.

Among the participants are Mastercard, Mercado Pago, Nubank, Rappi, Ualá, the Central Bank of Brazil, Adobe, ByteDance (TikTok), Canva, Disney+, Electronic Arts, Garena, Samsung, Spotify, and Uber.

Real-time payments will grow 31%.

The Beyond Borders Special Edition 2022 report says that by 2025, real-time payments are expected to grow by 31%, an acceleration only seen in Asian markets. Under this context, experts will discuss their vision, experience, and knowledge of the new regulatory frameworks and the digital revolution driving technology in payments and e-commerce.

“In Latin America, we see a two-way movement: financial inclusion through digital inclusion, and more people entering the digital world due to new financial products,” said Paula Bellizia, president of Global Payments at Ebanx, in a press release.

João Del Valle, co-founder and CEO of Ebanx, said that during the Latin America Summit 2022, they will seek to rethink the market’s growth prospects to boost the sector. Here you can see the full schedule of the Latin America Summit 2022.
