Founded in December 2023 by Kelvin Perea, Gilberto Pardo, Manuel Meza, and Alexis Solís, kAI is a Mexican startup that aims to simplify users’ daily tasks and time management through natural conversations with AI.

Startups Latam shares that just four months after its inception, the company has already outlined its growth strategy for 2024, which includes the development of wearable products and its own AI.

To fuel its growth, kAI is collaborating with Intel through the Intel Liftoff program to build its proprietary AI, making it the second Latin American startup to work with the American tech giant. The startup is currently processing data to train its AI, with over 1,500 agenda models processed and a goal of 3,000 by the end of the month.

kAI is also working on features that allow users to schedule and create activities collaboratively. The company plans to launch wearable products, including native apps for Wear OS and watchOS, by the end of April. These applications will enable users to track their tasks from their smartwatches, providing a more convenient and accessible way to use the platform.

In addition to wearables, kAI aims to introduce new functionalities such as sharing events with contacts and developing a bot for WhatsApp and Telegram by the end of September. These integrations will help the startup reach a wider user base and facilitate daily task organization without the need for an additional application.

To further support its growth, kAI projects closing a $750,000 funding round by the end of 2024. The investment will be used for training the company’s AI and developing growth-focused functions, as well as implementing suggested tasks based on personal goals, such as recommending and scheduling movies or TV shows.
