Domma, a Barcelona-based startup focusing on menopause research, treatment, and support, has secured €950,000 in a mix of equity and debt. The funding, led by Secways with contributions from Antai Ventures and support from strategic business angels and ENISA, aims to enhance scientific research and develop new biotechnological solutions to improve women’s health during menopause. Founders Cristina Martínez and Mireia Roca plan to use the capital to further digitalize support during the menopausal transition and expand their consumer reach.
Highlighting the initiative’s commitment to combatting menopause stigma, Cristina Martínez emphasized the goal of providing tailored support and solutions to meet individual needs. Secways and Antai Ventures praised Domma’s leadership and mission, recognizing the startup’s potential to significantly improve the quality of life for women experiencing menopause.
