Fundación Repsol has announced the 13th call of its Entrepreneur Fund, aiming to accelerate startups that deliver technological solutions addressing the energy transition challenges. Over the years, the program has evaluated over 6,000 startups, accelerating 77 with a survival rate above 70%, collectively raising over €450 million. The selected companies benefit from up to €120,000 in convertible loans, real-environment pilot testing, 12 months of tailored mentoring, and promotional support across events and media.
The initiative targets tech and impact startups in early commercial or pre-commercial stages, with innovative technologies or business models, and a minimum viable product. Eligibility extends to companies registered in Europe, including the EEA, Switzerland, and the UK, led by founders holding a majority stake. Startups with female founders and the potential for social impact are especially encouraged to apply.
Repsol’s latest call focuses on innovations in renewable fuels and materials, energy efficiency, water management, nature-based solutions, renewable energy, advanced mobility, and carbon management. The selection process, running from April to June, entails multiple phases, from initial screening to final presentations, prioritizing startups with scalable, high-quality technological propositions. With a dedicated approach to fostering a limited number of startups (between 6 and 8), Fundación Repsol aims to create customized acceleration plans, significantly enhancing their success potential.
