  • Ynsat’s SaaS platform significantly speeds up satellite data processing for companies.
  • Founders Víctor Moreno and Samuel Álvarez have created solutions that cater to both the mining and environmental sectors.
  • Ynsat’s system streamlines data from global space agencies like NASA and ESA, offering a user-friendly interface.

Ynsat, a Malaga-based startup, has introduced a cloud-based software service that transforms how companies handle satellite data. This innovative platform, with its dual products Remote Miner and Remote Enviro, allows mining and environmental companies to process satellite data within seconds, according to CEO Víctor Moreno. The platform supports data from major space agencies, including the European Space Agency and NASA, simplifying the once complex process of data analysis.

According to Vida Economica, the platform’s ease of use is highlighted by its pre-made study templates and a straightforward interface that does not require programming skills. Users select options and run the analysis, producing results instantly. This functionality has already attracted a diverse clientele from the United States, Australia, Canada, India, and Chile, with the first three being primary markets.

Beyond its current offerings, Ynsat is expanding its capabilities by integrating high-resolution satellite data from private providers listed on NASDAQ. These partnerships aim to deliver even more precise data, with resolutions as fine as 20 to 30 centimeters, enhancing the quality and applicability of the analyses. This move is expected to mark a significant milestone for Ynsat, as noted by Moreno, who also hints at a potential new product—a marketplace for satellite data providers.

Additionally, Ynsat is working on providing the European Space Agency with a software solution based on the Copernicus program and is planning to expand its product range to include defense sector applications in the near future. This broadening of scope illustrates Ynsat’s ambition to leverage satellite data across more industries and applications.
