Contxto – The Venture Capital firm, Angel Ventures, and the high impact incubator, Archetype, kick 2019 off with the right foot!

After carefully analyzing dozens of applications and interviewing entrepreneurs from Mexico and some other Latin American countries, the announcement was made:

16 companies will be part of the 4th Generation of the Acceleration Program in Guadalajara.

The chosen companies will be part of a 12-week intensive program in which they will receive mentoring sessions by entrepreneurs, advisors and experts in areas such as Finance, Taxes, Innovation, Marketing, Scalability, Legal Framework, Organizational Culture, Entrepreneurship, and Fundraising.

At the end of the program, founders will have the opportunity to pitch their startups to members of the AV Network and other allies in the region’s ecosystem, during the Investor’s Day.

It’s a platform that helps companies improve their internal communication and work environment. It uses Gamification as a tool to facilitate the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of employees.

Nubital

Personal document scanning application used for security purposes. It allows authorized users to manage important information, securely, effectively and very conveniently.

Check Eat

Check Eat lets restaurant owners “digitize” their menu and processes. It allows you to obtain information on what the restaurant serves, place orders and pay online, as well as discover exclusive promotions and redeem coupons.

It’s a software company that specializes in the development of diverse platforms, such as PayMHO, a social network, and marketing platform that protects the user’s private data using Blockchain technology and KYC procedures. A platform that connects taxi service demand and supply without the need of an app. The company provides safe and authority-verified cab services.

Last Thursday, the fund hosted an inauguration event where a panel took place.

The panel, moderated by Angel Ventures West’s Regional Director, Javier Sánchez Aldana invited Luis Rubén Chávez from Yotepresto.com, Estafanía Hernández CEO of Mi Dulce Hogar, and Jorge Morales from Larva Game Studios/VRIA to discuss some of their experiences as founders and to provide their top tips to the attentive audience.
