Jon Lee, the CEO of Vizzio Technologies, renowned for advancing Singapore in AI, is actually Dennis Lee, former CTO of Elipva. His past includes allegations of fabricating credentials, dating back to the late 1990s.

Vizzio, established in 2019, gained prominence with AI software for creating 3D models of objects and cities. Supported by Singtel Innov8 and Sinovation Ventures, it was featured in The Information’s top 50 startups.

Financially, Vizzio reported a revenue jump from US$2 million to US$12 million in FY 2023. However, Lee’s failure to provide financial statements raises questions about these figures.

The revelation of Lee’s true identity, following an article by Tech in Asia, casts doubt on Vizzio’s legitimacy and the validity of its achievements under his leadership.
