Under the slogan “Your talent is Global,” the Latin American fintech company Global66, in collaboration with the football team FC Bayern Munich, has launched an initiative aimed at young footballers aged 15 to 17 in Colombia and Chile. The goal is to identify standout talents among participants and select a team of 11 members who will have the unique opportunity to travel to Munich in March 2024 to train with the youth team of FC Bayern Munich.

Santiago Mejía, Country Manager of Global66 in Colombia, stated in a press release:

“This alliance with Bayern Munich is a testament to our commitment to youth and Latin American talent, empowering them to become global citizens. At Global66, we see football as a tool for transformation, and what better way to do it than hand in hand with a world-class club.”

The collaboration between Global66 and Bayern Munich aims to impact Latin American youth by combining sports and technology. This initiative allows young talents to shine internationally, benefiting from the experience and training provided by a high-level team like Bayern Munich.

To participate, aspirants must create a TikTok video of up to one minute, showcasing their football skills and using the hashtags #global66 and #YourTalentIsGlobal while tagging the TikTok account @Global_66. After posting the video, they must register on tutalentoesglobal.com, complete the registration form, and include the link to their video.

Participants have until December 19 to upload their videos demonstrating their football skills. Subsequently, in February, the selection day will occur in Bogotá and Santiago, where field skills will be evaluated, and a skills contest will be held.

During this selection day, the 11 young individuals who will travel to Munich for an eight-day training at the FCB Campus, guided by a youth coach from Bayern Munich, will be chosen. This initiative aims to promote sports development and provide participants with a unique educational and cultural experience.
