From his early teens, Nicolás Rojas was deeply engrossed in the world of coding. Growing up in Colombia, he embarked on independent projects from the age of 14, leading him to manage his own development company at 17. Today, that company continues to thrive with 100 full-time employees, providing Rojas with firsthand understanding of industry challenges, especially in API creation.
Rojas noted that with the rise of SaaS platforms, the demand for APIs continues to grow. This is where Dapta, the Miami-based startup he founded, comes in. Dapta offers a low-code, AI-assisted platform that enables businesses to construct their own APIs.
With the recent closure of a $1 million funding round, led by a series of prominent investors and angels, Dapta will focus on product development, enhancing the efficiency, security, and overall performance of its platform. The funding will also drive its marketing strategy, particularly targeting the US market.
