ApproPay has arrived in Colombia in collaboration with Google to change the way Colombians handle their finances, providing a simpler digital experience.

Created through the collaborative efforts of collaboration between Ecollect and Approbe, ApproPay introduces a digital payment solution that operates independently of traditional banking institutions and includes the “Buy now, pay later” option.

This promises more flexibility, greater buying power, and absence of hidden fees. ApproPay has streamlined the credit application process, reducing it to just 37 seconds.

ApproPay is a financial card without plastic or dependency on banks, presenting itself as a revolution in the financial sphere. The acronym BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later in English) defines an innovative alternative to conventional credit cards.

The official launch took place at Google facilities in Bogotá, bringing together investors and leaders from various sectors. From finance to medicine and insurance, everyone shared an evening marked by human warmth, trust in the country, and hope for a promising future.

Daniel Serrato, CEO of ecollect, a pioneer in payment platforms, pointed out that the “Buy Now, Pay Later” solution is already active for ecollect’s partners.

Customers will be able to access this option in a wide variety of establishments, including shops, businesses, schools, universities, and even medical offices.

Kenny Silva, CEO of Approbe, also emphasized that the credit application and approval process in ApproPay has been optimized to last only 37 seconds.

Furthermore, they are closely collaborating with Google to implement artificial intelligence and provide a closer and more empathetic financial experience to Colombians seeking flexibility, transparency, and more favorable interest rates.

The leader of the Google for Startups Program in Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean, Benhur Hernández, highlighted Google’s commitment to supporting startups in accessing cutting-edge technology.

This includes natural language models that enhance the customer experience, emphasizing the close collaboration between Google and innovative companies like ecollect and Approbe.
