Blind Creator, the Mexican platform designed for the management and growth of influencers and content creators, has announced the acquisition of MX $10 million in a pre-seed funding round. This capital will enable the company to accelerate the development of its technology and expand its solution offerings. Among the key investors are Brian Requarth, co-founder of the entrepreneurship platform Latitud, and Alejandra Ríos, CEO of Ambrosía, both figures from the show Shark Tank.
Also participating in the round were the Amador Holdings funds, of Panamanian origin, and Kuiper, a Mexico-based venture capital firm specializing in technology; and sixteen angel investors who joined the round.
With the new investment, Blind Creator plans to support the growth of more than 30,000 Spanish-speaking influencers and achieve revenues of USD $5 million by the end of 2024.
Blind Creator offers a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that aims to optimize the relationship between brands, influencers, and their representatives, while also providing a comprehensive CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in Spanish that covers everything from planning stages and impact reports to payment management.
According to Heinz Sohm, CEO and co-founder of Blind Creator, the investment will be crucial for offering a more complete solution to content creators:
“Influencer marketing is an effective channel for user acquisition, and with this investment, we aim to offer the first comprehensive platform in Spanish to professionalize Influencer Marketing.”
Mexico has more than 670,000 influencers, making it the third country in Latin America with the most content creators, only surpassed by Brazil and Argentina. According to a study conducted by Llorente and Cuenca, in Mexico, there are more than 1.9 million content creators, a market whose value is estimated at approximately USD $240 million. Moreover, over the past year, 16% of internet users purchased a product after interacting with an influencer’s content, the report highlights.
Blind Creator sees the professionalization of the industry as an opportunity to propose standards and more effective ways to evaluate the effectiveness of influencer marketing campaigns.
With this new capital, Blind Creator positions itself as one of the most promising startups in the influencer marketing technology sector in Mexico and in the Spanish-speaking region.
