Prometeo, a technological infrastructure firm connecting global businesses with Latin American financial institutions, has completed a $13 million Series A funding round. The round was spearheaded by Antler Elevate and saw participation from new investors such as PayPal Ventures, Samsung Next, and DN Capital partners, along with existing investors like Cometa and Magma Partners.
The raised capital will be utilized to enhance Prometeo’s offerings in banking data access and transfer payments across the region. Prometeo’s integrated banking software platform facilitates real-time, automated access to banking information and payments across over 283 financial institutions in 10 Latin American countries, all through a single API.
