Colombia’s capital is reportedly to be ready for the upcoming edition of Techstars Startup Weekend, a global event described by the company as an educational, creative, and collaborative environment for the presentation and development of new ideas over three days.
With multiple events of this kind held in 150 countries worldwide, entrepreneurs from Bogotá will have the opportunity to connect with other local entrepreneurs, present their ideas, experience the entire process behind creating a startup, and learn from experts and specialized mentors in various fields.
The Techstars Startup Weekend Bogotá will take place from October 20 to 22; local entrepreneurs will have an immersive experience bringing together the most creative, innovative, and passionate minds, ready to turn high-potential ideas into reality in record time.
This event is made possible thanks to the efforts of entrepreneurial leaders in the country and is organized by Lorena A. Rodriguez, Milton Suarez, and Antonio Alarcón.
The dynamics of Techstars Startup Weekend Bogotá follow the same structure as Startup Weekends worldwide.
From the first day, participants will present their ideas, form multidisciplinary teams, and set out to develop their MVPs over the weekend, validate business models, and present their projects.
The entrepreneurs will have the necessary resources and tools to receive feedback and constant support from expert mentors to adjust their products according to needs or recommendations.
At the end of the event, they will prepare a presentation to showcase their work during the 54 hours.
In addition to having prominent mentors, the Techstars Startup Weekend will attract investors and successful entrepreneurs who will share their experiences and, at the same time, support the participants.
Techstars Startup Weekend Bogotá will also include training sessions and practical workshops on critical topics such as market validation, product design, marketing strategies, and business development.
The call for participation is open to all individuals who wish to immerse themselves in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and are willing to develop an idea in 54 hours.
Only an entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, teamwork skills, and knowledge contributing to driving ideas forward are required.
Tickets to access can be purchased on the official event page until Tuesday, October 17.
