NTT DATA and Fundación Camiseteados have once again started nominations for “Camiseteadas for Technology“, for the second consecutive year.

The purpose of this initiative is to identify, highlight, and appreciate women, youth, and adolescents who are making a positive impact through technology, whether through creating solutions, spreading knowledge, empowerment, or inspiring others.

The multinational consulting firm specialized in digital transformation seeks to contribute to reducing the gender gap in the industry. In 2022, they joined as a sponsor of “Camiseteados for Chile“, a foundation that highlights and recognizes individuals who are taking positive actions deserving recognition from the community, according to public opinion.

“As actors in this industry, we have a fundamental role in promoting, recognizing, and giving visibility to women who are making their way in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics,” stated Adolfo Cuenca, CEO of NTT DATA Chile.

To participate, you can nominate a woman you consider outstanding in technology, or even nominate yourself, before the closing date of the call, which is September 28, 2023. You must complete a registration form available at: https://tinyurl.com/mvsa9nm4.

It’s important to remember that in 2022, 81 nominations were received, and Jeanette Campos, a language teacher, entrepreneur, and promoter of STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in English) in the Los Ríos Region, was the first winner in her category.

“The future requires collaboration, and technology is key to sustainable, human, and social development of citizens.

“We want to promote positive social change through the use of all tools, but also highlight and empower more women to be part of this industry by valuing their commitment to inspire others,” explained Karen Rauch, Executive Director of Camiseteados.
